Samgyeopsal 삼겹살

Samgyeopsal literally three layered flesh is a korean delicacy. Highly popular in Korea, the pork belly is expensive in Korea such that they import for less from overseas.

Here are some interesting stats I found here: In 2011 E-mart a chain discount store was found to be selling 100 grams of local samgyeopsal for 2,280 won while Canadian samgyeopsal was selling for 1,180 won and while French and Belgium samgyeopsal was selling for 980 won and ~870 won respectively.

I knew Canadian has tasty beef, but now I know people like our pork belly too~~
