[C-Drama] Treasure Venture 侠女闯天关 (2000) Review
Rating: Good (Vicky Zhao saves the day with her bright and playful character)
Vicki Zhao plays Lu Jianping, the mischievous daughter of the defence minister, Lu Dingwen. It is the reign of Emperor Shenzon of the Ming Dynasty. The Divine Book of the Supreme Counselor is a convetted manual of the art of war said to empower the owner how to rule the world. The manual is burried in the tomb of the founding Ming Dynasty emperor.
The plot resolves around the entanglement of Lu Jianping in the fight to obtain the three keys required to open the tomb holding the Divine Book of the Supreme Counselor. Through many ordeals, Lu Jianping enfriends two monks from Shaolin and falls in a love triangle with the second prince and an assassin.
